Shah Chemical

We are over at Plot No. 32 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vapi. This part of Vapi is quite old and has a lot of history with different industries moving in and out over the years. We’ve been here at Shah Chemical for quite some time now. The building shows its age a little on the outside, but it is solid and does the job we need it to do. Being in Phase-1 means we are right in the heart of all the industrial activity. There is always a smell of something in the air and the sound of heavy vehicles moving on the nearby roads. Our plot isn't the biggest one on the street, but we make the most of the space we have inside. We have a small area for storage and a couple of rooms where we handle the daily business tasks. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have air conditioning in most of the areas, so the ceiling fans are always going during the hot summer months. Vapi can be a tough place to work because of the heat and humidity, but we are used to it by now. Most of our neighbors are also in the chemical or industrial line, so we all understand each other. We usually start our shifts early to beat the worst of the sun. There are no fancy decorations or carpets here. It’s just concrete floors.
