Savla Laminates Ltd.

Our place at Savla Laminates Ltd. is over in Phase 3 of the Gidc in Vapi. The address is Plot No. C-1-b-2441. It’s a big enough spot for what we do. We’ve got a lot of sheets stacked up most of the time. The air in Vapi always feels like there's something being made nearby. Our floors are usually covered in some kind of dust or scraps from the laminates, but we sweep up at the end of the day. It’s a bit of a process to get everything lined up right. We don't really have a lot of visitors, just the delivery trucks and the staff coming in and out. The machines have their own rhythm, and you get used to the sound after a few hours. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning. We eat our lunch together in the small break area when the power goes out or when it's time for a rest. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s steady work. We try to keep the inventory organized on the racks, though it gets crowded sometimes. Being in Phase 3 means we are near a lot of other factories. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the orders we have. It's just a regular day-to-day operation here at our plot. We don't have fancy titles or corporate rules, just a lot of work to do. We just make sure the gates are locked tight before we head home at night.
