Runkis Steel Furniture

Down in the 3rd Phase of GIDC in Vapi, you’ll find Runkis Steel Furniture at Plot No. 2604/2. We spend our days surrounded by sheets of steel and the sound of metal being bent and welded. It’s a gritty kind of job, and we usually end the day with grease on our hands. We make all kinds of steel furniture, from simple cupboards to racks for other factories. We’ve been here in Vapi for a while, and the GIDC is a good place for this kind of heavy work. The shop floor is always a bit of a mess with scraps of metal and tools lying around, but we have our own way of organizing things. We don't have a glossy catalog or a salesperson in a suit. If you want to see what we do, you just come to the plot and look at what’s being built that day. We use older machines because they are reliable and we know how to fix them. It’s a practical business. We don’t talk about missions or visions; we just talk about how many units we can finish by Friday. The air in Vapi 396195 can be a bit heavy with the smell of industry, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and focus on the steel. It’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it a long time. We aren't fancy, but we get the job done.
