Renu Packaging

Our place, Renu Packaging, is located at Plot No. 6144/3 in the 4th Phase of Gidc, Vapi. It’s an L Type plot, which makes the layout a bit unusual compared to the neighbors, but we make it work for storing all the cardboard and tape. Being in Gujarat, the weather stays hot most of the year, so the warehouse can get a bit stuffy. We spend our days mostly moving boxes around and making sure the machines that fold the materials are running like they should. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good group of people here who just get on with it. There is usually a layer of dust on the windows from the road outside because trucks are always passing through this part of the Gidc. We’ve got some old chairs in the corner for tea breaks where we talk about the news or what’s for lunch. It’s a basic industrial setup, no fancy lobby or anything like that. When an order comes in, we just focus on getting the packaging ready to go out. The floor gets cluttered with scraps and offcuts pretty quickly, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the delivery drivers know exactly where the L Type plot is tucked away. It’s just a normal workday for us, from the time we open the gates until we lock up in the evening.
