The shop is called Rawat Sons and you can find us at Plot No. 01/b 248/3 4 in the Gidc area. It is a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you get here, it is just a regular family-run place. My father started this and now we all pitch in to keep the wheels turning. Working in Gidc means you are always in the thick of it, with trucks moving in and out and the smell of industrial work in the air. We handle a lot of different things depending on who walks in the door. Some days we are busy with one big project, and other days it is ten small things that people need right away. The building isn't much to look at, just a sturdy place where we keep our equipment and materials. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, so we all kind of look out for each other. It’s the kind of place where you might find a stray cat sleeping near the back door or a pile of scrap metal waiting to be sorted. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you need us, you just come into the workshop and talk to whoever isn't currently running a machine. We like the independence of having our own spot here. Every morning we open up the shutters, start the motors, and get to it. It is what we know.
