Quill Image

Quill Image is located in the I-3 Shed over in the Old J Type Area of Gidc. We are right near Themis Recter, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This industrial area is always noisy and full of trucks, but we’ve been here for a while. The area is full of dust too. We do various types of image work, mostly printing and things related to that. It’s not a very big shed, but we’ve managed to fit all our equipment inside. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a big project going on. We aren't a huge firm with receptionists and fancy lobbies. Usually, you’ll just find one of us working on a machine or checking a print. We get a lot of work from other businesses in Gidc who need labels or signs. It's funny how much goes into just making a clear image on a piece of plastic or paper. We’ve had some long nights when a machine breaks down or a deadline is tight. We just drink some tea and keep going until it's finished. It’s a practical business. We don't talk much about visions or anything like that. We just want the colors to look right and the text to be sharp. If the customer is happy with the final result, then we’ve done our job for the day. That is all we really care about at the end of a long shift.
