Purecotz Eco Life Styles Pvt. Ltd. is located over at Plot No. 28, 30, and 31 in the 52/ Hector Expention Area of the Gidc. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We work with fabrics and textiles mostly. The space is filled with rolls of cloth and the sound of machines. It can get pretty cluttered when a big order comes in, but we usually find a way to navigate through the stacks. We aren't a high-fashion studio; it’s more of a practical workshop where we cut and sew. The lights flicker sometimes, and the floor is stained with a bit of thread and dust, but that’s just how it is. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just keep the machines running well. Everyone here knows their job, whether it is checking the quality or packing things into boxes. The Gidc area is always humming with noise from other businesses, so we just blend right in. We take our tea breaks together and then get back to the tables. It’s a steady pace. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making products and making sure they are decent. That is life at Purecotz.
