Prakash Pumps is located at J-29 and 30 in the 1st Phase of the GIDC in Vapi, Gujarat. We’ve got one of those 'j' type sheds that are common in this part of the industrial estate. It’s a practical space designed for heavy work, not for showing off. We deal with industrial pumps, the kind that need to run for hours without any trouble. Our workshop is filled with the sounds of grinders and the clanking of metal parts being fitted together. It’s a busy place, and there’s always a bit of oil on the floor and grease on our clothes. We’ve been in Vapi for many years now, and we’ve seen the 1st Phase grow and change around us. The weather here can be a bit of a challenge, especially during the heavy monsoon rains when everything gets damp, but we keep the production moving. We don't have a corporate office or a staff of people in suits. We’re just a small team of mechanics and technicians who understand how these machines work.
