Polymer Printing Inks

We are based out of units 633-635 in the GIDC Industrial Estate in Vapi. This area is full of factories and the sound of machinery is everywhere. At Polymer Printing Inks, we spend our days mixing colors and testing batches of ink. It’s a dirty job and our clothes usually end up with some spots of blue or red by the time we go home. The warehouse has high ceilings and a lot of metal drums stacked up. We keep the big rolling doors open to get a breeze, but it still gets quite hot during the summer. We don't have a formal office space really, just a small corner with a desk and a phone. Most of the work happens on the floor with the mixers. We have to be careful with the measurements to get the colors right. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out like it should and we have to start over. It’s just part of the process. The trucks are constantly coming in to pick up orders or drop off raw materials. We know most of the drivers by name. It’s a working environment, not a place for suits or fancy meetings. We just focus on making the ink and getting it out the door so the printing shops can do their work. It’s been our routine for a long time now and we’re used to the smell of the chemicals.
