Naman Tapes

We are located in the GIDC Industrial Estate area. Our place is Gala Number 2 in the Lad Complex, Plot 239. It's right opposite Mehta Motors, so that makes it easy for people to find us when they are driving through the estate looking for supplies. The area is pretty industrial, with lots of noise and trucks moving all day long. We work with tapes of different kinds, mostly for industrial packaging and shipping. It’s a lot of rolling, cutting, and packing into cartons. The floor gets a bit dusty from all the activity and the wind blowing through the open estate. We have been here for some years now, just doing our thing. The shed is big enough for what we do, but sometimes when a big shipment of raw material comes in, it feels a bit tight for space. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon shift when the heat picks up. The sun hits the front of the gala pretty hard in the summer, making the metal doors hot to the touch. We know most of the guys working in the workshops around us. It’s a community of sorts here in GIDC. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just a desk in the corner and a lot of tape rolls stacked on the shelves. Sometimes the machinery nearby is loud, so we have to shout to be heard. It's hard work, but it keeps us busy. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the main gates of the estate start getting quiet. It's a practical place for a business like ours.
