Mahadev Electricals

The shop opens around nine in the morning when the sun starts hitting the front of Bhanudev Hira Complex. Most days are pretty similar here on Tele. Exchange Road in the Gidc area of Vapi. You can hear the traffic and the usual noise from the exchange nearby while we move boxes around. Mahadev Electricals isn't a very large place, just a regular corner where we keep all the electrical parts and wires that people in the industrial area need. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the trucks passing by, but that is just how it is in Vapi. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. It is mostly just us handling the daily walk-ins and the regular guys who come in for their supplies. The fan runs all day because it gets quite warm inside. There is always someone coming in asking for a specific fuse or a length of cable. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the counter gets buried under catalogs and receipts. It's a simple routine, really. We stay until the evening when the street gets a little quieter and then we pull the shutters down for the day. Living and working here in Shop No. 4 means you get to know the neighbors and the local rhythms of the road.
