Kissan Agro Fertilizers. We are tucked away in Phase-3 of the GIDC in Vapi, specifically at Plot No. A-2-2219. Working with fertilizers means there is always a specific smell in the air when you walk into the gate, kind of earthy and sharp at the same time. The warehouse is usually full of heavy bags stacked high. We spend a lot of our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the trucks can pull in and out without hitting the gate. Vapi is a busy place, and it feels like there is always construction going on nearby. Our office has a few old chairs and a computer that takes its time to start up. We don’t really do big meetings or have many visitors. Mostly it’s just farmers or local suppliers who know where we are. We keep things pretty simple. If something needs doing, one of us just gets up and does it. There isn't much hierarchy here. Sometimes the rain in Vapi gets so heavy that we have to stop work for an hour to keep the bags dry. We use a lot of heavy plastic sheets for that. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things around. By the time evening rolls around, everyone is tired and ready to head home. We just try to get the orders out on time and keep the place organized. It is just a regular job for us, keeping things moving as best as we can.
