Jignesh Argon Welding Works. We are located at Shed No - J/294/7 in the GIDC area. If you know the neighborhood, we are right behind Apsara Penal. GIDC is a noisy place, and our shed is no different. From the moment we start in the morning, there is the sound of metal clashing and the hum of the welding machines. Argon welding is the main thing we do here, though we don't like to talk too much about it. It’s a lot of heat and bright sparks, so we are always wearing our protective gear. The shed isn't anything special to look at. It’s a working space with tools scattered around and pieces of iron waiting to be joined. We get a lot of work from the other factories nearby that need repairs or specific parts made. It’s a small team here. We’ve worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of metal and gas. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-weld with a mask on. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them finished on time. It’s hard, physical work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a clean weld when you’re done. We just keep the doors open and the torches running as long as there is work to do today.
