Our shop is located in the Gokul Shopping Centre, specifically Shop No. 7/8 on Plot No. Cm/18 in Vapi. The business goes by Jayshree Trading Co. and also Paras Sales Agencies. Being right opposite Via Road and near Panchal Brothers makes it easy for people to find us. It’s a retail and wholesale setup. The shop is filled with various products, mostly hardware and supplies for the industries nearby. Stuff is stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is. My son helps me run the place now. We open up early and stay late, especially on Saturdays. Vapi 396 195 is a busy postal code to work in. There’s always someone coming in looking for a specific bolt or a valve. Decades have passed since we first opened this shop. The shopping centre has gotten a bit older, and the paint is peeling in places, but it’s a good location. Talking to a lot of people every day, from factory owners to maintenance workers, is part of the job. Fancy sales tactics are not used here. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when it’s quiet and watch the traffic on the main road. It’s a decent way to earn a living, and we’ve made a lot of friends in the GIDC over the years. We just keep it simple.
