Jay Veer Hardware

If you're looking for us, we are over at Plot No. 2833 in the Balaji Kanta section of the GIDC. Jay Veer Hardware is basically a place filled with bins, shelves, and a lot of metal. We deal with all sorts of small parts, tools, and supplies that people need for their own shops or building projects. It’s not the most organized-looking place in the world, but we generally know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific bolt or a particular hinge, we can usually find it after a bit of looking through the aisles. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we use a lot of ladders to reach the top rows. It’s a bit dusty, and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time counting out pieces and talking to the regulars who come in for their supplies. Most of the people who stop by are from other units in the GIDC area. We don't have a big sales pitch or a fancy showroom. It is just a warehouse where we keep stock and help people find what they’re looking for. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at once to deliver new stock, but we manage to get it sorted eventually. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our customers by their first names. It’s a simple business, and we like the routine of it.
