Our company, Hindustan Petrofil Agro Chemical, is based in the 3rd Phase of the GIDC in Vapi, specifically at C1/b/2426. Being in the agro-chemical sector means we deal with a lot of different materials and containers. The facility is a practical space designed for storage and some basic processing. It is not a shiny laboratory. It looks like a typical industrial unit with sturdy walls and a lot of shelving. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure everything is labeled correctly. The air in Vapi can be heavy with the smell of the surrounding factories, and we are right in the thick of it. We started this business to supply farmers and distributors in the Gujarat region. It is a lot of logistically heavy work, moving drums and sacks around. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just talk to people on the phone and send out deliveries. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it happens. Our office is just a small room with a few filing cabinets and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It is a no-nonsense environment where the priority is getting the orders out the door to the people who need them. We have been here for a while and plan to keep going for many more years to come.
