Himgiri Electricals Hardware Stores is situated in Shop B/20 at the Sharaswati Apartment. We’re right by the Power House in the GIDC area. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around. Being near the Power House means things are always busy. We sell hardware and electrical bits, which makes sense for where we are. The shop is full of boxes and tools. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush chairs or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. It gets dusty from the industrial roads, and we’re constantly cleaning the counters. Most of our customers are workers or people from the nearby units. They usually know exactly what they want, which makes our job a bit easier. I usually spend my time sorting through screws or checking the wire stocks. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a bit, but everyone is patient. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. We’ve been at Sharaswati Apartment for a long time now. It’s a bit of an older building, but it does the job. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on having what people need when they walk through the door. It’s a simple business, really. No need to overthink it.
