Haatkesh Chem Eng. Industries is located in the 100 Shed Area of the GIDC in Vapi. Our specific spot is C-1/85. If you know Vapi, you know it’s a massive industrial hub. Our area is full of small workshops and sheds, all doing different kinds of engineering and chemical work. It’s a loud place with the sound of metal and machines going all day. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, but we are used to it. Our shed is pretty basic. It has a high ceiling and lots of tools scattered around. We started this because we knew the engineering side of things well. It’s just a few of us working here most days. We get our hands dirty and stay busy with whatever project is on the floor. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting. We usually just talk over the noise of the fans. We’ve been in this same shed for years now. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so we help each other out with tools sometimes. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they are also in the GIDC. It’s a simple life of making things and fixing things. We just do the work and go home. We have an old kettle for tea and some plastic chairs in the corner. That’s our break area. It’s not much, but it’s ours.
