Dakle Reinforced Plastics Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 210 in the GIDC area of Vapi. If you know Vapi, you know it’s a place where things are constantly being made. Our plot is a standard industrial space where we work with reinforced plastics every day. It’s not the cleanest work in the world, as there is always some dust or the smell of resins in the air. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time and they know the process inside out. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly stay out on the floor where the action is. The GIDC is quite large, but we’ve been at Plot 210 long enough that we are easy to find for the delivery trucks. We don't bother with fancy slogans or promotional talk. We just look at the orders that come in and get to work on the molds and the plastic layers. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping an eye on the details of each piece. Sometimes the weather in Vapi makes it tough, especially when it’s raining hard or it’s very humid, but the work has to go on. We just focus on getting the product right and making sure it’s ready for the customers when they need it. It’s a straightforward, hardworking industrial life here. We usually just let the noise of the machines be our background music while we get things done.
