Cyrystal Polymers

Our place, Cyrystal Polymers, is at C-1B, Plot No. 720 in the 40 Shed Area of Gidc. This is in Vapi, specifically in the Valsad district of Gujarat, 396195. It’s very industrial here. The shed is large and made of corrugated metal, so it gets incredibly hot under the sun. We have some big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We work with polymer materials, which means there are always bags of plastic pellets stacked up on wooden pallets. The floor is mostly dusty from the trucks coming in and out of the shed area. We have a small corner with a table and a few chairs where we take our breaks and look over the orders. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the processing units are at the right temperature. Vapi is a busy town for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by neighbors doing similar things. We don’t have any fancy signs out front, just the plot number. Sometimes the rain in Gujarat is so loud on the metal roof that we can’t even hear each other talk. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Our main goal is just to get the batches finished on time and loaded onto the trucks. It’s a simple, hardworking environment with no frills or extra decorations. We lock up the shed every evening and check the gates.
