You can find us over at Plot No. 297/11 in Phase-ii of GIDC in Vapi. We are right near the Vapi Paper Mills, which is a huge landmark in this area. If you get lost looking for our gate, just ask anyone for the paper mills and you will be close enough to see us. Colortex Industries has been around for a long time now. As the name suggests, we deal with colors and dyes. If you look at our hands or our work clothes, you can usually tell exactly what we were working on that day. Vapi is a very industrial place, and our corner of Phase-ii is no different. It’s all about trucks, heavy drums of chemicals, and people moving fast to get things loaded. The air around here often has a particular scent because of all the industries, but we are used to it. Our factory is not a showpiece. It’s a working building with stains on the floor and pipes running along the ceilings. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just know how to mix the colors and manage the batches. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when it is humid, which is basically all the time in Gujarat. Most of us take the bus or ride our bikes to the gate every morning. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place to work.
