Central Machinery Plastic Products

Our place, Central Machinery Plastic Products, is located in the GIDC area. Specifically, we are at A-1, 182/2. Being in an industrial estate means there is always noise and movement around us. We work with plastics, so the machines are running pretty much all day long. It can get quite hot in the workspace, especially during the summer months. We have a crew that’s been with us for a long time, and they know the machines inside and out. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, as there’s always some scrap or dust around, but we try to keep it decent. We spend our time fixing parts, checking the molds, and making sure the output is okay. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. People usually know us from word of mouth or because they’re also in the GIDC. It’s a practical environment. We have a small office area tucked away in the corner where we keep the books and take calls. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we all have to pitch in to get things back on track. It’s just a regular factory life. We focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the counts are correct. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. I suppose we will be here for a long time. It works.
