Avs Chemicals Industries

Vapi GIDC is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it at 100 Shed Area. Avs Chemicals Industries is located at C1/64 on Silvassa Road. The trucks are always lined up on the road outside, which makes getting in and out a bit of a challenge sometimes. The air smells like chemicals and dust, but that’s just Vapi for you. We have a small office section and then the main shed area where all the stuff happens. It’s loud because of the machines and the traffic. We’ve been at this location for a while. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We are usually too busy managing the daily deliveries and checking the batches. It’s hard work and the hours are long. Most of the staff has been with us for years. We know the local tea seller by name, and he comes by twice a day. We don’t use any fancy management software; it’s all just notebooks and a few folders. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the water pressure is low, or the gate gets stuck, but we fix it ourselves. It’s a practical environment for practical work. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do. It gets very humid here in the monsoon, but we keep going. Working here is all we know.
