Asiad Polyplast

You can find Asiad Polyplast at J-5 in the GIDC area. It’s a relatively small unit, but we make the most of the space we have. We work with different types of plastics, and the machines are running pretty much all day long. The building is just a standard industrial shed, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we’ve spent most of our working lives. The air inside always smells a bit like warm plastic, which is something you stop noticing after a few minutes. We don't have a big team of managers or a dedicated sales office. Usually, the same person who’s checking the quality of the plastic is the one who handles the paperwork and answers the phone. We like to keep things simple because it means we can keep an eye on everything that’s happening on the floor. If a batch isn't coming out right, we can stop the machine and fix it immediately without having to go through a bunch of meetings. We aren't trying to be the biggest player in the GIDC. We just want to do a solid job and provide for our families. Most of our days are spent checking the temperatures on the machines and making sure the molds are clean and ready to go. It’s repetitive, physical work, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe our business. We just make plastic parts and try to be fair with everyone we deal with.
