Aaram Restaurant

People around the GIDC usually know where Aaram Restaurant is. We sit at Plot No. B-5, right across from Kalpataru Society and near the U.I.A. Hall. It’s a simple place to get a meal. We don't have white tablecloths or a big fancy menu with pictures. We just cook what people like to eat for lunch and dinner. The kitchen gets really hot around noon when the workers start coming in from the nearby factories. We try to keep the tables clean, but it gets crowded during the rush. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when everyone arrives at once, but we do what we can. We’ve been in this spot for quite a bit now. The regulars usually don't even need to look at the menu anymore. They just sit down and ask for the daily special. We buy our vegetables from the local market every morning to keep things moving. There’s nothing very special about the decor; it’s just chairs and tables where you can sit for a bit of rest while you eat. That’s why we called it Aaram. It’s a place for a break. The fans are usually running at full speed during the summer months. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It's just a local eatery run by a few of us who like to cook and serve food.
