Omega Boilers is located over at Plot No. 131-1-10 on Silvassa Road. We are right behind Gujarat Steel in the Gidc part of Vapi. It is an industrial neighborhood, so you won’t find anything quiet about it. There is always the sound of welding or metal clanging coming from somewhere nearby. Our workshop is a bit old, and the floor has its fair share of oil spots and scratches from moving heavy parts around. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets piled up. The ceiling is high to let the heat rise, but it still gets pretty stuffy in the afternoons. We usually leave the big main door open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. People often stop by asking for directions because all these plots look the same after a while. We know the neighbors at the steel yard well, and we sometimes share tools or help each other out when a truck gets stuck. It is a straightforward operation here. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or decorations. The focus is always on the metal and the machines. Most of the guys have been here for years and know exactly where every wrench and bolt is kept without looking. It is a bit messy, but it is our way of working. We just keep our heads down and try to finish the day's tasks before the evening traffic starts building up.
