Our shop is right by the Aarti Industries plant in the chemical zone. It is easy to spot Plot 749 if you know the general area. The store is filled with all sorts of wires, switches, and electrical components. It gets a bit crowded in here because we like to keep a lot of items on hand for our regulars. You know how it is, someone always needs a specific fuse or a length of cable right away. We usually open up quite early in the morning. The chemical zone gets busy fast once the shifts start. There is always a bit of dust coming in from the road outside. I spend most of my time behind the wooden counter or digging through old boxes in the back. Sometimes a customer comes in asking for something I haven't seen in years. We try to keep the basics in stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. My neighbor’s son started working here too lately. He is still learning where everything goes on the shelves. It's a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the layout. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling and we use an old metal ladder that squeaks. We don't really do any advertising or social media stuff. People just know we're here near the big factory. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour but we just wait it out and talk. It's a simple shop with no bells or whistles. We just sell what people need for their wiring projects.
