Gel Poly Pack

Gel Poly Pack is at Plot No. 1661 in the GIDC Estate. We are right in the thick of the manufacturing hub. Our business is packaging, so we have a lot of plastic and poly rolls around the place. The machines that seal the bags are always hot, and you have to be careful where you step. It’s a fairly large shed, but with all the inventory, it feels crowded. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively. The workers are mostly from the local neighborhood. We’ve been at this plot for quite a while now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We focus more on the output. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself think. We just keep working through it. Our office is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood. It does the job for keeping the invoices straight. We don't have a website that we update or any fancy brochures. People just come to the gate when they need packaging stuff. We load up the tempos and they head out. It’s a simple cycle that repeats every morning. We just try to get the orders done on time without any fuss. It’s how we've always operated.
