Bright Well

Our place is at Plot No. 602 in the GIDC area. It’s one of those big industrial zones where every building looks a bit like the next one. You have to keep an eye out for the number on the gate or you might drive right past us. The air around here is usually thick with the smell of nearby factories and the sound of heavy engines. We spend our days inside the shed, mostly just keeping our heads down and working. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun beats down on the metal roof. We have a couple of old fans that do their best, but they mostly just move the warm air around. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always wiping down the tables. It’s just a few of us here, doing the daily tasks that keep the business moving. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the slow hours. The truck drivers come and go, bringing supplies or picking things up. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just know how to handle the work in front of us. It’s a practical life. When the whistle blows at the end of the shift, we lock up the gate and head home like everyone else in the estate.
