Our place is over at Plot No. 730 and 731 in the GIDC. It's a decent-sized space since we have two plots joined together. We mostly handle equipment that needs to stay in good shape against rust and wear. There’s always some welding or fabrication happening on the floor. It can get pretty hot during the afternoons, but that’s just part of working in an industrial zone. We’ve been here for a while and the crew knows the routine well. We don't really have a big front office or anything like that. People usually just come straight to the gate if they need something. The equipment we make goes to various places, mostly other factories around here that deal with chemicals or harsh environments. It's heavy work and everything is built to last. We don’t really worry about making the place look corporate. It's a workshop first and foremost. There are tools everywhere and usually a truck or two waiting to load up. Some days it feels like we’re constantly moving metal from one side of the shop to the other. We keep busy, and that’s how we like it. The GIDC is a good spot for us because everyone around here is doing similar types of industrial work. We just stick to what we know, which is making sure things don't fall apart or corrode. It’s honest work and we keep the doors open for anyone needing our gear.
