If you head down to the Gidc Estate, you’ll find us at Plot No 1632. It’s a busy area and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park near our entrance. We’ve been operating Fine Indutries from this same spot for a long time. The building is a bit gray and the walls are covered in tool racks and old calendars. We don’t really go in for modern decor or anything like that. Our main focus is just the work on the floor. It’s a small shop, mostly doing light industrial stuff. There are four of us who handle the day-to-day operations. We know each other's families and often share snacks during the afternoon break. The floor is always a bit cluttered with scrap metal and tools, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a noisy environment with the grinding and cutting going on, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a big mission or any corporate slogans. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to get home in time for dinner. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole weekend getting them back up, but that’s just how it is. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we like being part of the Gidc community.
