Everest Spices

We are Everest Spices, located at No. 232 on Solsumba Road. Our place is near the Mata Mandir in Umbergaon East. It is a quiet enough area compared to the big cities, but the road gets its fair share of traffic. We work out of this building every day, mostly dealing with different kinds of spices. You can usually smell the pepper or the cumin from the street. We don't have a big corporate team here. It’s just a handful of us making sure everything is processed and packed correctly. The Mata Mandir is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. We have been in Umbergaon for a long time. The building is older, and we’ve had to fix the roof a few times. We just go about our business without much fuss. The mornings are usually the busiest when we start the grinders. It gets a bit loud then. We sell to local shops and sometimes to people who just walk in. We don't use fancy packaging unless someone asks for it. Mostly, it’s just about getting the product ready for the kitchen. We like being in this part of town. It feels like home. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all walk or bike to work. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just keep our heads down and do the work. When the rains come, the road gets a bit messy, but we stay open regardless.
