Our workshop is located at Umia Industrial Estate in Pardi, right at Door No. 76 and 77. It is a very busy area with a lot of noise from all the other machines running in the nearby units. Having two doors gives us just enough room to fit our equipment and keep some materials in the back. Dealing with engineering work means there is always grease on the floor and metal shavings all over the place. We spend most of our day working at the lathe or welding different parts together. It isn’t the cleanest job you can find, but it is what we know how to do. The heat in Pardi gets quite bad during the summer months, especially when you are inside a metal shed like this one. We have a few guys working here who have been part of the team for a long time. We aren't doing anything flashy or high-tech. Usually, we just take the drawings that customers bring in and try to make the parts as close as we can to what they want. Some days the machines break down and we have to spend hours fixing them instead of finishing the orders. That is just how this business goes. People find us near Pardi Naka easily enough. We don’t even have a big sign out front. We just drink our tea and get through the pile of work on the bench.
