Adarsh Hospital

Adarsh Hospital is located over at Doctor House on Halar Road in Valsad. Being in Gujarat, it gets quite hot during the summer months, but we keep the fans going for everyone inside. The building has been here for a good amount of time, and most people in the neighborhood use us as their main point for health stuff. We handle the daily tasks like registrations and making sure the doctors have what they need for their appointments. Halar Road is a busy stretch, so there is always noise from the traffic outside, but it is quiet enough once you get inside the rooms. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel, we just focus on making sure people get seen and treated. The staff here mostly comes from around Valsad, so we speak the local language and know the families who come in. It’s a practical place with tiled floors and wooden benches for waiting. Sometimes we run out of chairs when it’s flu season, and people have to stand for a bit, but we try to be quick. We keep a regular schedule and make sure the pharmacy stays stocked up. It’s a lot of coordination between the nurses and the front desk. Working in a hospital in a place like this means you see everyone eventually. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every single morning for the local folks.
