Our place is in Vapi, specifically at Shree Challa Park Society. It’s right across from the Challa Gam Panchayat Office, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us once they get into the area. Vapi is a busy industrial town, and there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks moving around. Our office in 7/B is where we sit down to figure out the schedules and deal with the local authorities. Since we’re right near the Panchayat office, we see a lot of the local happenings every day. The weather in Gujarat can get incredibly hot, so we usually try to get the heavy outdoor work done in the mornings. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group trying to get these construction projects finished. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, or we have to wait on deliveries coming in from across the state line. We use simple tools and rely on the guys who have been with us for a long time. It’s not a polished environment. There are usually empty tea cups on the desks and bits of site maps pinned to the walls. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't run into too many delays with the local rain or the heat. It is just basic work done by people who have lived here a long time.
