We've been up here at Murugalli Estate in Valparai for a long time now. Life is pretty quiet, mostly just the hills and the tea plants. People around here know the roads can be a bit tricky, especially when the rain starts. We spend most of our days making sure the leaves get picked and processed without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy setup, just a lot of hard work in the fields. Some of the guys have worked here their whole lives. You get used to the damp air and the way the tea smells when it’s drying. We just get the job done and send the loads out down the hill. It’s mostly just us and the trees up here. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, but that’s just how it is. We don't really do anything else besides tea. The machinery makes a bit of noise in the afternoons, but otherwise, it's just the sound of the estate. We’re tucked away a bit, so not everyone finds us easily, but we like it that way. If you’ve been to this part of Valparai, you know exactly where we are. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily chores. It’s a lot of walking and checking on rows of plants. Nothing too complicated about it, just the way things have always run at Parry Agro Industries Ltd.
