GH Patel College Of Engineering & Technology is located out on Bakrol Road. It’s a bit of a drive depending on where you're coming from, but it’s a well-known spot around here. The college is a busy place, especially when the semester is in full swing. You’ll see students everywhere, usually looking a bit stressed about their engineering projects or upcoming labs. We have various buildings and workshops where all the technical stuff happens. It’s not exactly a quiet environment; there’s always something going on, whether it’s a machine running or a group of students arguing over a calculation. We spend our days making sure the labs are stocked and the classrooms are ready. The walk along Bakrol Road can be nice in the winter, but it’s pretty dusty most of the year. We’ve got a lot of history here, and the walls show it. It’s not a shiny new corporate building; it’s a place where people actually get their hands dirty learning how things work. The canteen is usually the loudest part of the day. We have a lot of staff who have been here for years, just keeping the gears turning. It’s a big responsibility, looking after all these future engineers, but we just take it one day at a time. The routine is pretty much the same every year, but the students change. That’s just life at the college for us. We just keep the doors open.
