Our little office is out in Village Rasulpur Sohawan, which is part of Bhagwanpur in the Vaishali district. We share space with Sri Uppendra Singh, so it feels more like a family home than a business spot. It’s a quiet area for the most part, though you can hear the cows and the occasional tractor passing by outside. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights. People around here just know where to find us when they need to talk about their savings. Bihar can get really hot in the summer months, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool while we work on the books. It’s not a fast-paced environment. We take our time with the entries to make sure nothing gets messed up. Most of the people coming in are local farmers or shopkeepers from the village. We offer them a glass of water and sit down to go over things on the wooden table. There’s a lot of talk about the weather and the crops before we even get to the money stuff. That’s just the way it is in a small place like this. VAROSHA SAVINGS NIDHI LIMITED isn’t trying to be something it’s not. We’re just local folks helping out other local folks with their money.
