Sevanivirth Social Welfare Foundation

Sevanivirth Social Welfare Foundation is based in Village Bairia, which falls under the Kanti block. We are located at Nilam Devi's house in Tola-Bairia. This is part of the Paigamberpur Kolhua panchayat area. It is a typical village setting where the pace of life is a bit slower than in the town. Our foundation operates right from the house, so it’s a very informal environment. We don't have a big sign out front, just the knowledge that this is where we do our social work. Most days, you will find Nilam Devi or some of the other members sitting on the veranda, talking to people from the village about their needs. We help out with various social issues that come up in the local community. Since we are in the village, we see the problems people face every day firsthand. It might be something with the local school or help with government paperwork. There is always a lot of dust because the roads are unpaved, and you might see some cows or goats wandering past the house while we are working. We don't have any big office equipment, just our pens, some registers, and a lot of patience. It’s a very simple way of living and working. We are just people from Bairia trying to help other people from Bairia. No one here is trying to be a big boss; we are all just neighbors working together in the Tola.
