Our place is located in Rampur Nausahan, which is near the industrial area in Hajipur. Being in Vaishali, we see a lot of people moving around for work. Punarjyoti Samajik Nidhi Limited was started because we felt the people in the village and the workers nearby needed a place they could trust with their small savings. It is a very basic office. We have some wooden desks and a few fans to keep the air moving. It is not polished or corporate at all. We are just local residents who know the struggle of trying to save a few rupees here and there. We call it "Samajik" because it really is about the social circle we live in. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. Usually, someone just hears about us from their neighbor and walks in. We spend a lot of time explaining the rules to new members because we want everyone to understand how it works. It is all about mutual benefit, so everyone has to do their part. The industrial area nearby means there is always noise and dust, but we are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and focus on the books. It is an honest way to live and help the community in Hajipur stay on its feet without any big outside pressure.
