It is a bit funny because the name is Power Electric Company Kolkata, but we are actually located in Vaishali, Bihar, 844126. We get asked about that sometimes. It is just how things ended up when the company started. We have been operating here in Bihar for quite some time now. The office is a basic building, nothing that would catch your eye from the road. Inside, it is just what you would expect for an electric company. Lots of spare parts, some old ledgers, and a few desks that have seen better days. We handle the local needs around Vaishali and the surrounding areas. The pace of life here is a bit slower than the big cities, which suits us fine. We know most of the people who come through the door. It is a lot of manual work and keeping track of supplies. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us. When a transformer has an issue or someone needs electrical supplies, they know where to find us. We take pride in just being reliable and showing up when we are supposed to. Some days the dust from the road gets into the office, but that is just part of being here. We keep the fans running and stay on top of the paperwork. It’s honest work in a quiet part of the country.
