Naseem General Store

Our shop, Naseem General Store, is located at 5/1 in Kamna Vaishali. We are situated right across from Bharat Dairy, which makes it easy for people to find us when they go out for their morning milk. It’s a simple neighborhood store where we try to keep all the basic necessities. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much. We open up early, sweep the floor, and start arranging the bread and eggs. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how we stack the crates. Sometimes the delivery guys come at the same time and it gets a bit crowded on the sidewalk. We know most of the families living around here. They come in for things they forgot to get at the bigger market. We don't have any fancy posters or bright signs. It’s just a regular place with shelves full of biscuits, soaps, and kitchen supplies. The afternoons can be slow, so we usually sit on a stool near the door and watch the people go by. We don't use a computer, we just remember the prices or look at the labels. It’s a quiet way to make a living, but it works for us. We just want to make sure the locals have what they need without having to travel too far. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if the street is still busy. It’s just a part of being here in Vaishali. We hope to keep the shutters opening for a long time.
