We have been here at B-37 in the industrial area of Hazipur for a while now. Most days start pretty early because the machines take some time to get going and we have a lot of fabric to get through. It’s a bit noisy inside the unit, but that is just how it is when you are working with textiles all day. People usually find us easily enough once they get into the industrial part of town. We handle a lot of rolls and different materials every week. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big load comes in or needs to go out. The space is filled with stacks of cloth and the hum of the equipment. We don’t really do much fancy stuff, just stick to the work at hand. Sometimes the power acts up or things get a bit dusty, but we keep moving. The staff knows the routine well by now. We spend most of our time checking the weave or making sure the colors look okay under the lights. It isn't a quiet office job, that’s for sure. Most of us have been around Hazipur for years and know the neighboring shops too. If you walk past our gate, you’ll probably hear the clicking of the looms. It is just a regular place where we get the fabric ready. We try to keep things organized but with so much material moving around, there’s always something to move or stack.
