Chaudhary Plast

Our place, Chaudhary Plast, is at No.38 on Station Road in Hajipur. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement. You can hear the trains whistling at all hours. The road outside is usually full of rickshaws and people rushing to catch their ride. We have a decent-sized space here, but it fills up fast with our plastic stock. We have been operating out of this location for a good while. The front of the shop stays open most of the day to let some air in, though it also lets in all the dust from the street. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the tempo trucks. It is hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the road. We don't have a website or anything like that. People mostly just know us because we have been here so long. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by the light coming in from the door. We handle the plastic goods, talk to the transporters, and make sure the accounts are more or less right at the end of the day. It is a noisy, busy life on Station Road, but we are used to it. We just keep the business running one day at a time without making a big fuss about it.
