If you find yourself near Chaurasia Chowk on the Mahatma Gandhi Setu Road, you will see us right there. Hajipur can get pretty crowded, especially with all the traffic coming off the bridge, but our gate is a familiar spot for many. This is a place where we focus on training teachers, so the atmosphere is usually serious but also a bit frantic during exam season. Bihar winters are nice here, but the summers can be tough when the ceiling fans are working overtime. We have a lot of people coming from different parts of the district. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the area well. We spend our mornings checking registers and making sure the classrooms are ready. It’s not a shiny new corporate building; it’s a practical space with some dust on the shelves and a lot of old files. We usually sit around the main office during the lunch break and talk about local news or what’s happening on the Setu road. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, chatting in the hallway. Our students are mostly young people hoping to get into schools later on. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running smoothly, especially with the paperwork, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be anything fancy. We just provide a place for people to learn and move forward with their lives in Hajipur.
