Melawa Agro Producer Company Limited is based in Jalgaon, within the Vaijapur taluka. We run things from Karbhari Daulat Shalar’s place. Since we are a producer company, it’s really about a bunch of us coming together to manage our crops better. We don't have a big corporate headquarters in a city. Our office is just a quiet spot in the village where we can sit down and figure out the logistics of our farming. Vaijapur is a rural area, and most of us have been farming here our whole lives. We know the seasons and the soil like the back of our hands. We spend a lot of time talking to the other farmers in Jalgaon to see what they need and how we can help get their produce to the market. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we have long arguments about the best way to do things. But at the end of the day, we are all working towards the same thing. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing teams. We just do the work that needs doing. Some days are spent entirely outdoors, and other days we are stuck inside doing the accounts.
