You can find Xylem Water Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. at Plot No. 731 in the GIDC Savli area. It’s a bit of a drive out on the Manjusar Savli Road, but we’ve gotten used to the commute over the years. The facility is pretty large because dealing with water solutions takes up a lot of space. We have pumps and tanks and all sorts of equipment sitting around the yard. It’s a practical environment. No one wears a suit here unless they have to. We are mostly in our work clothes, dealing with the day-to-day tasks of moving water. Some days are slow, just checking the maintenance logs, while other days are a scramble to get things out the door. The dust from the road settles on everything, so we are always cleaning up. We don’t have a fancy philosophy about what we do. We just know that people need water moved from one place to another, and we provide the tools to do it. The team here is a mix of old hands and some newer faces, but we all just get along and do the work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and technical checking. We aren't into big advertisements or polished speeches. We just stay at our plot in Savli and make sure the equipment works like it’s supposed to. It’s a lot of grease and water, but it’s our job.
