Volco Indus1

We are out here at Plot No. 69 in the Gidc Estate in Waghodia, which is in the Vadodara district of Gujarat. Volco Indus1 has been part of this industrial belt for quite some time. The commute from the main city can be a bit long, but we’ve got a good group of people who make the trip every day. The facility is mostly one large open space where we handle all the manufacturing. It’s typical for Waghodia to be hot and dry, and the factory reflects that. We don't have air conditioning in the main area, just big vents and fans to keep the air moving. We do a lot of heavy work here, so the floors are worn and there’s always a bit of iron smell in the air. The office is just a small partitioned section where we handle the orders and the GST filings. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a social media person. We mostly just talk to our customers over the phone or they drop by the plot to discuss things in person. Sometimes the cows from the nearby village wander near the gate, which is just part of being out here. We just try to get the work done right and get the shipments out to the distributors on time. It's a basic, hard-working environment without any pretenses or unnecessary corporate rules.
