We are based at Kailash Bhuvan, which is on Street Number 2 in the Laxmiwadi area of Rajkot. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trade and constant movement. Being part of V-Trans means we have a lot of history, but our office here is quite grounded and simple. We deal with express cargo and transport all day long. The office is usually a bit dusty because of all the trucks passing by and the dry air we get in Rajkot. We have a few old wooden desks and some plastic benches for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork to be cleared. It’s a lot of shouting back and forth to get the loading organized. We don't have any air conditioning in the main area, just some big ceiling fans that hum and rattle all day. Most of us have been in the transport business for many years now. We know the routes and we know most of the regular drivers who come through. It’s not a complicated operation, just a lot of moving parts that need to be kept in line every morning. We drink a lot of tea from the shop next door throughout the day. The street outside is always full of activity and noise. We don’t worry about looking professional in a corporate way; we just want to make sure the goods move out on time. That's the main thing we do here.
