Viren Mahendra Sahu & Co. is located in Flat No. 24 of the Amrapali Apartment in Karelibaug. It is a bit different working out of an apartment building compared to a commercial complex, but it feels more personal. You have to go through the main gate and take the stairs or the lift up to the second floor. The flat is full of cupboards that are packed with files from over the years. We have turned the living area into the main work space with a few desks and some computers. It is quiet for the most part, except for the usual sounds of an apartment building like kids playing or someone cooking nearby. We like the neighborhood of Karelibaug because it is central and easy for our clients to reach. There is no big sign outside, just a small nameplate on the door. We spend most of our day going through records and answering the phone. It is a steady kind of work. We do not have a fancy board room for meetings; we just sit around the main table and talk. It feels more like a home than an office, which suits us just fine. We have been here for quite some time now, and the routine is well-established. It is a simple, no-nonsense place where we focus on getting the daily tasks done. That is just how we operate.
